About Creative Makes.
Hello, I'm
Jules, owner and creator of Creative Makes.
Creative Makes was set up in May 2008, when I was determined to find myself a new challenge. I was looking for something that would take me out of that "just a mum" box that I had been residing in for 12 years. With a husband and 4 beautiful children to take care of, I needed something that would also fit around our lifestyle. As we have chosen to home-educate our children, that isn't an easy task!
Having been an avid crafter for over 16 years, I thought that there must be some way of making a few pennies (and getting my life back!) by using one of my many crafting skills. I'm proud to say that Creative Makes, my new baby, was born. Here you will find a mixture of my skills put to use, from knitwear to egg-art, unique handmade cards to stunning photographs, and hand sewn items to personalised gifts. All are handcrafted by myself, in my own studio in beautiful Devon.
